For the third year running the College held its Annual Conference at the exquisite and exclusive Church House Conference Centre, Westminster, London.

The College is an academic institute striving to promote clinical excellence, patient trust and to establish Aesthetic Medicine as a specialty in its own right.

An intense academic programme, with top speakers and informal chat sessions with the experts were on offer. With a clinical and business packed agenda, the main aims of the event were to keep members informed of the latest treatments and techniques. It also included a business agenda which provided delegates with the latest medico- legal updates and general data protection regulations.

Through an array of presentations and panel discussions attendees had the chance to explore topics including body sculpting and skin care, whilst engaging in live demonstrations of neck and brow lifting and a barbed thread skin lift from some of the world’s leading experts in Medical Aesthetics.

Following Conference, a drinks and canapes reception sponsored by Wigmore Medical was held to provide delegates with the opportunity to network with fellow practitioners. For the gourmands among us the cuisine was delicious all day.

Dr Ruth Harker said “It’s been high quality, stimulating and what’s more a friendly, fun day!”

The President, Paul Charlson said, ”it’s been an exciting year ;BCAM is growing in its influence with a bigger conference and larger membership. The dentists are joining us now and we have set up the BCAM Academy for new aesthetic doctors”.

Next year’s Conference is same date, same place- Saturday 22nd September 2018 Church House Conference Centre.
