The largest world congress of its kind, the Anti-aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) 2014 will be held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, at the Grimaldi Forum.

Under the scientific supervision of the World Society of Interdisciplinary Anti‑aging Medicine (WOSIAM), the AMWC 2014 will mark its 12th anniversary with an advanced programme of content developed by the reputed scientific committee. Based on the AMWC’s unique hallmark, the congress programme is planned around effective ageing prevention and treatment by comprehensively addressing aesthetic strategy (dermatology and surgery) for the external appearance and applying anti‑ageing medicine for internal wellbeing.

For the AMWC 2014, the overall concept is ‘Be Ready for the Future’, emphasising not only the importance of keeping up with recent knowledge, technology and worldwide practice, but also on preparing  participants to meet the challenges of the changing world.

The congress offers a 2.5-day programme covering over 60 scientific sessions and 42 practical workshops/symposiums running in three auditoriums and four conference rooms, with simultaneous translation in four languages. Up to 7500 participants from over 120 countries worldwide are expected to join.

The AMWC 2014 is honouring Colombia

This year, the AMWC has appointed three Colombian honorary presidents, Dr Luis Fernando Botero (Plastic Surgeon), Dr Hernan Duque (Dermatologist), and Dr Alejandro Rada Cassab (Anti-ageing medicine). A ‘Special Colombia’ scientific session will be dedicated to Colombian aesthetic and anti-ageing treatments. Colombia is not only a beautiful country and people, but is also a new, fast-growing place for aesthetic and anti-ageing practice, where, at the end of 2014, the WOSIAM and Euromedicom will launch the 1st AMWC Latin America, to take place in the superb city of Medellín.
