Hologic is pleased to announce the launch of SculpSure, for Non-Invasive Body Contouring of the Submental Area.

SculpSure’s new submental procedure provides a non-invasive chin contouring treatment that helps patients achieve a slimmer and more sculpted jawline, without surgery or downtime. SculpSure is available as a standalone device for treating the chin, as well as a hardware and software upgrade for existing users.

The treatment indication has a recently certified CE Mark for use in the European Union (EU)and its member states.

In addition to the submental area, SculpSure also provides FDA-cleared, non-invasive lipolysis of the flanks, abdomen, back, and the inner and outer thigh areas. SculpSure uses unique technology as it delivers targeted heat energy which permanently destroys fat cells, removing them from the body via the lymphatic system.

“The number of patients requesting facial contouring treatments, particularly to treat a double chin is increasing, so it’s great to have new technology available to treat this specific area,” says Aesthetic Surgeon and Cosmetic Doctor at S-Thetics Clinic, Miss Sherina Balaratnam. “SculpSure’s new application is an innovative and important aesthetic tool which can permanently reduce unwanted fullness under the jawline for a slimmer, contoured and more youthful appearance,” says Miss Balaratnam.

Miss Balaratnam will discuss the benefits of the new submental device, detailing effective techniques at Aesthetic Medicine Live, where Cynosure will also be providing live demonstrations.
