The world’s foremost surgeons, researchers and industry experts educated delegates on ergonomic implants at the 5th VWorld Symposium on 3rd – 5th October 2019.

Taking place at Lake Garda, Italy, delegates learnt through a cadaver workshop about the latest techniques and tools that maximise women’s health and lead the evolution of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

Practitioners learnt about Motiva® breast implants – considered the 6th generation of breast implants due to how evolved the technology is and its unique surface, designed with women’s health as a priority.

Delegates discovered more about Motiva SmoothSilk®/SilkSur-face® implants and how they compare to other implant surfaces on the market. They learnt how to select the right implant type for each patient from the diverse range available in the Motiva® product portfolio, plus how to adapt surgical techniques and processes to achieve the best possible surgical outcomes with Motiva Implants®.

Presentations included: the Evolution of Breast Surgery, Best Practices in Breast Implant Imaging, Video Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Understanding Complications and much more; with a host of industry experts present.

“We had the pleasure of hosting our biggest World Symposium on Ergonomic Implants yet. Together we have innovated and pushed new technologies to the mainstream with one purpose: to improve women’s health. We had some fantastic presentations and everyone who attended had the opportunity to take something away that will benefit their practice.”
