Lumenis Ltd., the world’s largest medical laser company for ophthalmic, surgical and aesthetic applications, has announced that the company is expanding its customer service, sales and distribution operations in the UK. The new staff and resources will help guide the launch of key new products in 2014, and provide additional support for current customers.
‘We are delighted to be ramping up our customer service operation in the UK with direct sales and distribution capabilities,’ said Remco Schmitz, Lumenis UK Director of Sales and Marketing.
‘To lead this effort, we have added two new customer support specialists with nearly 40 years of cumulative experience in the medical laser and IPL industry. Lumenis provides customers with the largest independent medical laser service organisation in the world, and these investments reflect our ongoing commitment to improving health professional and patient access to our technologies in this critical market.’
The Lumenis customer service offering includes comprehensive training support, with regular workshops, meetings, webinars and marketing events designed to update health professionals on new innovations in the field.
Lumenis support programmes are designed to provide quality, cost-effective services that accommodate a broad range of customer needs and help practices maintain compliance with government safety and performance standards. The new specialist expert service team will cover the whole of the UK and have a service centre based near London.
